Cyber Civics

At our institution, we take pride in being a little bit different from other academic programs. We have developed a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes ethical and critical thinking skills, and covers essential topics such as digital citizenship, information literacy, and media literacy. Our program scaffolds concepts to help students make sense of a complex digital world and is specifically designed for middle school students. To support our students' learning outside the classroom, we send-home parent letters with family activities that align with every lesson. Our program has a 98% renewal rate, and this is because it was designed by teachers for teachers, ensuring that it is developmentally-appropriate and effective for our students.

Dig Cit Commit

Teaching digital citizenship to youth is crucial in today's interconnected world as it equips them with the knowledge and skills to navigate the online landscape responsibly. Emphasizing concepts such as online safety, respectful communication, critical thinking, and responsible use of digital resources helps young people develop a positive and informed online presence. By instilling a sense of digital citizenship, we empower youth to make thoughtful decisions, protect themselves from online risks, and contribute positively to the digital community. This education is essential for fostering a generation of individuals who can leverage technology for personal growth, collaboration, and societal well-being while minimizing potential negative consequences.
